The Self Published Author!

I am officially a published author!!!!!

Rediscover Yourself : The Art of Self Discovery Through Inner Work

Yes you read that right!, I now have a published book on Amazon for people’s enjoyment.

The journey of getting this book completed was a learning experience in itself.

Deciding on the topic I wanted to speak about was a personal project of mine. My debut book is titled Rediscover Yourself: The Art of Self-Discovery Through Inner Work.

My book is in the self-help niche. I thought it was a good first topic to try because I was/am already going through my rediscovery process through self-help already, so I’m basically writing what im actually experiencing in real-time.

Combining my real-life story with some self-help techniques is a good combination I think can offer value to my readers.

Speaking of offering value to my readers, I’ve decided to give you a list of 5 helpful learning points that can be applied from reading my book Rediscover Yourself.

1) Practice mindfulness:

Mindfulness is a powerful tool that can help you become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. By practising mindfulness regularly, you can develop a greater sense of self-awareness and learn to respond to challenging situations in a more positive way.

*MY TAKE– the bottom line is: BECOME MORE PRESENT! I learned to IDENTIFY then PROCESS then ACCEPT then RELEASE the hurt/trauma. It helps me to move forward.

2) Journaling:

Writing in a journal can help you process your thoughts and emotions and gain a deeper understanding of yourself. Make it a habit to write in your journal regularly, and use it as a tool to reflect on your experiences, feelings, and goals.

*MY TAKE– Don’t underestimate the power of writing things down! You’ll be amazed at how better you’ll feel!

3) Cultivate self-compassion:

It’s important to treat yourself with kindness and compassion as you work through the process of inner healing. Be patient with yourself and remember that healing is a journey, not a destination.

*MY TAKE– I’ve been learning to love myself more lately, and love comes in all forms, especially in taking it easy on myself and giving myself more credit.

4) Seek support:

It can be helpful to connect with others who have gone through similar experiences or who are also working on their own inner healing. Consider joining a support group or seeking out a therapist or coach who can offer guidance and support.

*MY TAKE– being open to opening myself up more to people has great benefits. You’ll be surprised at how people are willing to open themselves up and share their experiences when it comes to relatable topics like this.

5) Practice forgiveness:

Forgiveness can be a powerful tool for healing emotional wounds and letting go of past hurt. Work on forgiving yourself and others for past mistakes and remember that forgiveness is a process that takes time and effort.

*MY TAKE– A process like this that takes time and effort can’t be understated! I’m a little stubborn on this one but I get 1% better every day!

I know better than anybody that when you are working on yourself it takes effort and practice. I hope that anybody that reads this blog post will go and read REDISCOVER YOURSELF to get an extended understanding of my method of healing.

until next time…
